Savers Bank Has the Holiday Spirit
Savers Bank employees are full of holiday spirit as we embark on a lineup of holiday events taking place in early December.
Savers Bank will be participating in the annual Festival of Giving Trees which runs December 5th – 8th at the La Salle Reception Center. Savers Bank has donated a decorated tree with the theme of "Home Baked Holidays" complete with employee’s favorite holiday recipes and cooking gifts. We will also run the Santa’s Toy Shop where employees will be volunteering their time providing gifts to children who attend the event. We’re happy to support the mission of the festival which is to raise money to benefit The Cancer Center at Harrington, Silent Spring Institute and the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition.
Our Uxbridge branch is participating in the annual Uxbridge First Holiday Night on December 7th. Our branch will be open and our Uxbridge employees will be providing crafts, face painting, hot chocolate, carolers and so much more holiday fun. The Savers Bank car will also be participating in the parade and employees will be handing out giveaways along the parade route.
Finally, our Grafton branch will become "Santa’s Workshop" during Grafton Celebrates the Holidays on December 8th. Stop by for crafts, holiday activities and refreshments provided by Savers Bank and the Grafton branch employees.
We know the holidays are more than just celebrations; it’s also a time to help those in our communities that are in need. In addition to the events listed above, many of our branches are collection sites for a host of organizations this season including: People First – The Food Pantry of Uxbridge Angel Tree, Grafton Food Bank Holiday Toy Drive, Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, Worcester Youth and Family Services, Cops & Kids and Lions Club Toy Drive and finally, the St. John Paul II Food Pantry.
