Savers Bank’s 2016 United Way Campaign Raises Over $18,000 in Donations

Southbridge, MA— “Making a difference in our own backyard” is a commitment Savers Bank employees are strongly dedicated to. Savers Bank’s annual United Way employee campaign resulted in their largest donation made to the organization to date totaling $18,213.04. The donation will be presented to the United Way of Southbridge, Sturbridge & Charlton.

Savers Bank employees have been longtime and active supporters of the United Way, with donations from employees going to meet the needs of the community and help make a positive impact on the lives of the people of Southbridge, Sturbridge, and Charlton.

The employee campaign ran from November 2 – November 15. The total donation raised by employees was $9,106.52. Savers Bank was pleased to equally match this generous employee contribution.

The United Way of Southbridge, Sturbridge & Charlton supports a range of educational, preventative, support and relief services. Specific organizations include, American Red Cross of Central & Western MA, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest, The Bridge of Central MA, CASA, Catholic Charities, Community Legal Aid, Girl Scouts of Central & Western MA, Literacy Volunteers of the Tri-Community, New Hope, Pathways for Change, Tri-Community YMCA, and Tri Valley, Inc.
